Starting From The Ground Up
Just starting? That's not a problem. I’ll help you get set up with all the right gear and software so you have all the tools you need to start working on your music. We’ll walk through the basics of using DAW software, recording live instruments, programming MIDI with virtual instruments, and more.
Understanding Production
Learn the ideas and theory behind recording and editing live instruments like drums, bass, guitars and vocals. We’ll also take a look at understanding the basics of synthesis, how to create interesting sounds, and how to layer different sounds to create depth in your music.
Piecing it all together
Mixing is the final stage in production before sending it out for mastering. We’ll dive into both the technical and creative sides of mixing, what tools are available, how to use them, and how to keep yourself organized so you can focus on getting the best mix possible.
